Kristen is from Raleigh, North Carolina where she trained with Pierrette Sadler Danceurs under the direction of Christy Curtis, working with choreographers like Jason Parsons, Mia Michaels, and Dee Caspary. She was also involved in the pageant world and held the title of Miss Heart of Carolina in 1998. Kristen now trains at Gotta Dance Atlanta and is a part of their professional contemporary company – Phase 1 Contemporary. She has had the privilege to perform at showcases like Mad Expressions, 2012 Destined to Dance Awards, and most recently with The Mad Violinist at the King Plow Arts Center. Kristen has furthered her passion for dance and children by teaching various styles of dance including ballet, tap, jazz, and contemporary for the past 5 years.
