She graduated from Penn State University with a master’s degree in vocal performance and pedagogy and a bachelor’s degree from Florida International University in Music Education. She has sung with the Florida Grand Opera chorus and in a number of full productions including a leading role in Mozart’s Marriage of Figaro. She is primarily trained in classical singing technique, but also has experience teaching musical theater and other popular styles of singing. She has experience teaching voice at both the private and class/group setting. Her primary goal as a voice teacher is to help her students find their own unique voice in a way that not only promotes good technique, musicianship and vocal health, but also inspires them to share their talent and love of singing with others. Sara is currently the soprano soloist/section leader at Holy Innocents’ Episcopal Church in Atlanta and will be attending the Harrower Summer opera program at Georgia State University this June.
